Robin Hall took the helm of the Macy’s events organization in January 2001. There he is responsible for overseeing Macy’s world-famous, nationally televised events including Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and Macy’s 4th  of July Fireworks. In addition, Robin’s responsibilities encompass all of Macy’s annual iconic events such as Macy’s Flower Shows, Macy’s renowned four-city fashion gala “Glamorama”, Macy’s Santa Land as well as Macy’s Special Events events and other projects and special productions nationwide.
 
As part of the national corporate marketing team, Robin is charged with leveraging the brand’s iconic events across the country and developing strategic partnerships with the entertainment industry including television, film, music, and licensed properties.
 
Robin moved to New York City in 1979 from his native Denver to work as a senior copywriter in Macy’s Advertising Department. Over the years, he has worked at other companies including Bergdorf Goodman, Grey Advertising, and News Corporation, but he has always returned to the fold of Macy’s. Robin’s three different stints at Macy’s account for most of his professional life in New York.
