Patti Shock, CPCE, is a professor in the Harrah Hotel College at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she teaches Catering, Intro to Conventions and Social Media for Hospitality. She is also the academic consultant for The International School of Hospitality. She has co-authored five books on Catering, including A Meeting Planner’s Guide to Catered Events. She is a frequent speaker at industry meetings and has received a multitude of awards and recognitions, including Emeritus status for the Certified Professional Catering Executive designation by NACE; a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Professional Convention Management Association; and one of the 10 Most Powerful Women in the Convention Industry. For more info: http://www.pattishock.com
